Join us each month for Storytime with Ms. Megan, from 11:00am-12:00pm! In this class, Ms. Megan will read stories, lead in songs, and finish with a sensory activity inspired by the monthly theme! Storytime is designed for children ages 0-5. (Older siblings are always welcome!)

Bay View Community Center’s Family Resource Center will also provide a FREE book for the first 15 families, on a first-come-first-serve basis! Each month’s book ties to one of the Five Protective Factors for Families.

Families who work to help their children understand feelings enjoy a host of positive supports, including: children feeling validated and safe, becoming problem solvers, and finding success in school and in relationships. “The Color Monster” by Anna Llenas helps young children to understand their emotions through the many colors (emotions) of the “Color Monster.”
